What is expected to be Europe’s largest centennial gathering of BMWs is scheduled for August 14 when the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire plays host to the BMW Car Club National Festival.

Tom Caren, Show Manager for the British Motor Museum stated
“The BMW Festival is a fantastic family day out,” Tom Caren, museum show manager, said in a news release. “To mark this special anniversary year we will be organizing plenty of additional activities to entertain visitors. Seeing so many BMW’s on display from different decades is a brilliant spectacle to see”

More than 800 BMWs of all vintages turned out for the festival last year, and many more are expected for the centennial celebration. In addition to the show field, the event will include a “driving arena” and a special display where 100 cars will form the figure “100” for an aerial photograph.
