Carlisle Auctions reaches $4.1 million at spring sale

Held April 21 and 22 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Carlisle Auctions reached $4.1 million in sales via a 60 percent sell-through rate of over 400 consignments.

Earning the auction house’s highest sales total ever, the top sales of the weekend included:

1.  1958 Chevrolet Corvette, $88,000

2.   1966 Chevrolet Corvette, $82,000

3. 1977 Ford Boss Mustang, $77,500

4.  1970 Ford Mach 1 Mustang, $77,000

5. 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, $74,000

(figures include buyer’s fees)

Additionally, Carlisle Auctions earned $11,300 in charity sales to benefit a local chapter of the Salvation Army and Susquehanna Service Dogs.

The next Carlisle Auction is scheduled for September 29-30.
