I might well be interested in such a vehicle. Needs to be very comfortable and get great fuel mileage (30 mpg) Maybe offer two engine configurations, one for those who want more power and one for those who prefer higher mpg
in the 1960s i drove cab as a second job, and they only used checkers. it was one fine rough dependable car. i hope ,if the new checker gets off the ground it is built the same way. i’d gladly buy one.
It is hard to take this concept drawing serious because it is drawn as it was in 1982 with the exception of the backend having the so called el camino style. For a Checker to have a chance at gaining a market share there would be some serious changes made to this. Gas is still a major issue due to cost and this body style is in no way aerodynamic at all. It needs to be lower and needs new styling of the bumper , headlights and grille area. Id love to be involved in creating or designing a new Checker style.
