Carlisle Events has announced scheduling changes for the 2016 show season, including a new Carlisle Import and Performance Nationals.

The event merges the Carlisle Import and Kit Nationals and the Carlisle Performance and Style events to provide a show for the best import, domestic and performance sport compacts within the hobby. This event will be May 20-22, 2016, at the Carlisle fairgrounds in Pennsylvania.

Combining the shows also provides Carlisle Events with more flexibility, it said in its news release.

Carlisle Events also invites enthusiasts to spend a day with Dad at the GM Nationals, June 17-19, and has added a day to the Corvettes at Carlisle event, August 25-29.

Carlisle Events also is increasing its attention on auctions and no longer will stage the Bloomberg Nationals presented by PPG. The event will continue — date to be determined — with promotion by the Dream Machines Motor Club.

Meanwhile, Carlisle’s 2016 schedule includes 11 event.
