Doesn’t anyone use it as a “daily driver”?
I have the good fortune to have 6 vintage vehicles (all GM) ranging from a 1946 Buick Roadmaster (Roadmonster?) to a 1963 Pontiac Catalina, all of which are driven in rotation during a week. My contemporary vehicle is driven about once a week. Living in California, I’m blessed to be able to maintain this arrangement year round. I’ve been doing this for about 30 years.
i have a 68 firebird 400 I use to drive around on sunny days and run to the grocery store yet it runs on pump gas 3.73 gear and still runs 11.22@ 122mph. and I have a 2002 ws6 trans am that I just purchased for my wife. I sold her 72 gto she had that was all pure stock and it ran 13.00s then i built and restored a 67 firebird 400 and it was too nice of car to drive so we sold that now shwe loves her trans am 6 spd and it runs 13.00 and she can drive it to the track and it gets around 28 mpg! NOT bad for a car that can top out at 160mph. Got to love the pontiacs!!
