1955 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Model 76C This is one of only 4739 Roadmaster convertibles produced It top of the line for Buick in 1955 This car underwent a total restoration and was finished in January of 2015 Everything on the car was restored or replaced and nothing was left untouched Even the part numbers are re-stenciled on the frame The underside has been restored to be as it was when new Accessories consist of Wonderbar radio, EXI glass (new and date coded), Wire Wheels, White Wall Tires and power brakes Power steering, power windows, 2 way power seat, clock, and back up lights were all standard on the Roadmaster This car just won Best Of Show at the BPOC meet in April 2015 Special note: 1955 was the only year for the Roadmaster to have gold emblems on the hood, trunk, grille and doors. Cadillac did not like the idea of its sibling having gold on it and complained to higher ups at GM. It was never done again This car is one of the finest examples of this model in existence
