Fuel-Injected Free Association: Drive the Bid Podcast

One degree of separation from Kevin Bacon

-

If you’re a grump, you probably are not too keen on the game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. But what if we twisted the game so it would have something to do with automobiles? That was the premise Derek Shiekhi took when he created the theme “Fuel-Injected Free Association” for this week’s AutoHunter Drive the Bid Podcast.

Here’s how it went down: Derek threw at me several images, and I had to produce an automotive connection. And I did the same for him. Watch or listen to the above podcast and see how I attempted to trip Derek up!

Other features on the Drive the Bid Podcast include new car news on the Mercedes-Benz CLE coupe and convertible, and the 2024 Hyundai Sonata.

For our Quick Takes, Derek spoke about the 1990 Jeep Freedom concept, while I showed him the available Bumblebee stripe colors for the 1970 Dodge Challenger.

And, of course, we both presented our two AutoHunter picks that include a 1970 Coronet R/T clone, 1986 Chevrolet K10 pickup, 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Rocky Ridge Conversion, and a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe powered by a 383 small-block.

AutoHunter Cinema has plenty of other videos and podcasts created by the experts behind ClassicCars.com, the world’s largest online collector car marketplace. AutoHunter brings forth a dedicated live customer support team, quicker auction listings and exclusive benefits for both buyers and sellers.

Diego Rosenberg
Lead Writer Diego Rosenberg is a native of Wilmington, Delaware and Princeton, New Jersey, giving him plenty of exposure to the charms of Carlisle and Englishtown. Though his first love is Citroen, he fell for muscle cars after being seduced by 1950s finned flyers—in fact, he’s written two books on American muscle. But please don’t think there is a strong American bias because foreign weirdness is never far from his heart. With a penchant for underground music from the 1960-70s, Diego and his family reside in the Southwest.
